Logo rebrand for VOVK Combat Hopak School

About the client

VOVK (“Wolf”) is a School of Combat Hopak, the Ukrainian martial art – a community initiative that brings together sport, health and patriotism.

The solution

• We developed three different designs and kept the core idea of the previous logo – the image of a wolf.
• A detailed snarling wolf's head stands for strength, character and fighting spirit.
• The rhombus behind it is one of the eight auspicious symbols of happiness, meaning well-being and serving as an emblem of victory.
• A wide chopped typeface for “SCHOOL VOVK” reads well on uniforms, banners and social media.

Logo animation

Besides the updated logo, the school got a stylish video presentation – a logo animation that grabs attention within seconds and sticks in memory.

The result

A modern sports logo that kept the school recognizable and made it stronger: it looks great on apparel, patches, gym walls and at competitions.
